Nokia unveils the Lumia 800, “the first real Windows Phone”

Much eagerly awaited here’s the Nokia Lumia 800, yea no need to wipe your eyes twice this isn’t the Nokia N9 but it has the same specs, polycarbonate uni-body design, Carl Zeiss optics and curved glass but this little baby has a camera button. Stephen Elop stated this was “the first real Windows Phone”, a really bold statement considering this model it’s running the same version all other windows phone handsets have, the only differentiation it’s the Nokia specific apps like Drive and Nokia Music with MixRadio.

The new Nokia Lumia 800 is now available in select countries for pre-order on www.nokia.com and is scheduled to roll-out across France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK in November, with 31 leading operators and retailers providing unprecedented marketing support in those first six countries. It is scheduled to be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan before the end of the year, and in further markets in early 2012.
